The challenge

The Texans introduced new team colors with their 2024 rebrand, and the bull entrance at NRG Stadium had to match them. This is the structure players run out beneath on game day, so the color had to be right in person and on TV.

Our scope was the structural pieces: the base of the bull head and the armored shoulder structures. The rubber bull head itself was handled by a company that specializes in rubber coatings.

What we did

The Texans provided their new official color specs, and we matched the structural and armored pieces to them. Every piece had to look right and hold up in an NFL stadium.

The deadline was tight, and the job didn't end at the paint booth. These are big structures, so we also had to find a trailer that could get the finished pieces to NRG Stadium without damaging them. We wrapped each painted piece, loaded the trailer, and unloaded at the stadium for the install.

The result

Everything came together quickly, the install went smoothly, and everyone involved was happy with how it turned out. For us it was personal too: we grew up in Houston as lifelong Texans fans, so seeing the bull on game day was a full-circle moment.
