The challenge

OEMExtinguishers.com customers want an extinguisher that looks like it came with their car. That means every order comes with its own color. Customers give their paint code with their car's year, make, and model, and in some cases a paint sample like a gas door.

For an online store, that's hard to do in house. Each order needs a custom-mixed color, careful prep, and a finish that holds up on a curved metal canister.

What we do

They send us the extinguishers and each customer's paint code. We custom mix the color in house, prep and paint each extinguisher, and check it before it leaves our shop.

On their site, OEMExtinguishers.com notes that labels now sit under the clear coat for what they call an "OEM+ look."

Why it works for an online brand

They sell custom colors without owning a paint booth, mixing system, or painters. We handle the color matching and painting, so they can focus on selling.

The same setup works for other online sellers: send us your products and color codes, and we'll paint them, one piece or a small run.
